Have used AFWAT 3 times. The moves get bigger each time and these guys don’t blink. I thought for sure we’d need more than 1 trip to our new home but they expertly packed in every item in one load and did it fast and carefully. They knew exactly what could and couldn’t be done with our new layout and were very patient with some of our indecision on where to put things. This company did an amazing job with my move, and it was a third-floor apartment move, which was not easy. Josh and David were so efficient, positive, and hardworking the entire time. I ended up needing to move almost twice as many items as originally planned for, and these guys still finished the entire job under the estimated time for the job. This was my second time using this company, and any move I need in the future will be with them for sure.

Every time I move locally I use AFWAT because I know they’re going to be reliable and get the job done well for a reasonable price point. Josh and David moved me this time and they were no exception. Josh was super communicative and kept me informed throughout the process which I greatly appreciated. David did an excellent job as well. I had one heavy piece of expensive fitness equipment that they nicknamed Big Bertha (lol) which they took great care of along with the rest of my belongings, well within the originally estimated time. I’ve been using AFWAT for ~10 years now and no doubt I will use them next time when I inevitably move again.

Moving is difficult for both the homeowner and moving company. It's messy and emotional, even when it goes well, which means it's got to be a very difficult business to run. Knowing this, I had low expectations regardless of the company I chose. However, after working with AFWATM, I've reset my expectations of what a moving company can be.Most moving companies refuse to come on site to provide an estimate. They want to do this virtually, which is a set up for disappointment and unexpected problems on both sides. AFWATM was very amenable to coming on site to evaluate the job, which was a necessary criteria for me. In fact, it was the company owner who made the house call.I interview five moving companies. AFWATM was the best mix of online customer ratings & cost. I felt very comfortable with the job estimate and scope of work. This was a large job requiring multiple personnel and multiple trucks over two days. The moving team also handled the majority of our packing tasks too, which, in hindsight, was the best money I spent.I'm pleased to report the move went very well. The movers arrived on time on the various days they worked, nothing was broken, all disassembled items were properly reassembled, and no damage occurred at either home. That's all exemplary experience, and even more so when considering the reasonable comparative price I paid.Lastly, I'd like to mention the personnel who worked my moving job: John, Josh, Schyler, David, Anthony, Ron, and Jamell. We actually had a pretty fun time over the course of two grueling long days despite the hard work involved. All of them were extremely polite and worked their asses of for us. I'm truly appreciative. John, the owner, is a stand up guy. We experienced a few hiccups throughout the move and we handled those scenarios together in a completely professional, friendly way.I trusted John & AFWATM with literally everything I own and they were awesome, exceeding expectations in all facets. The highest compliment I can give is a public recommendation attached to my name. The building manager in our new apartment building recommended A Friend With A Truck as an especially cooperative and efficient moving company. Now that our move is complete, I certainly agree! Everything about this move exceeded my expectations. The person I spoke with to arrange the move was courteous and knowledgeable. Josh, Anthony, and David, our crew of movers, arrived on time and worked professionally and courteously.Ours was a somewhat challenging move, to a fourth floor apartment in a building with only one elevator. Josh, Anthony, and David shared the elevator with only minimal inconvenience to tenants. When our mattress proved too large for the elevator and needed to be carried up four flights of stairs, these gentlemen not only didn't grumble, they also moved the mattress in an amazingly short timeI did not compare movers' prices before contracting with A Friend With A Truck. I thought their price was absolutely fair and paid it gladly.There is no such thing as a "stress free" move, but our experience with A Friend With A Truck comes very close, and deserves my highest recommendation.

Gary, Jamel, Jalen worked all day and evening loading and unloading our belongings (more than we had originally realized), and even brought in a fourth employee, Josh, with an additional truck to help out on short notice. They were all fantastic. We would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for moving services. The price was very fair, and the guys took great care of all our items. They worked very hard with minimal breaks, and did so with enthusiasm and without any complaints. If I need movers in the future, they will be my first call, and I will request these specific employees by name.

I used A Friend With A Truck Movers this past weekend to move all my larger items from a two bedroom house to an apartment. They were exceptionally efficient and very nice from start to finish. The quoting process was incredibly easy and reasonably priced for the time and effort. Once the movers arrived, they immediately went to work and boxed up my entire house in less than an hour. Another hour and a half after that, they had somehow to make multiple trips up and down four floors and set up the apartment the way I envisioned. The whole job was supposed to take 4 hours and they completed everything in 2.5! They were well worth what i spent and if I ever need to move again, I already know who to use.

We used a friend with a truck moving company this week to help us move and I must say, they did such a phenomenal job! We had Josh, Anthony and Jamell. They were the nicest guys ever, super polite and professional. They went above and beyond. We were combining two households so they had to make a few different stops at different places. They were more than happy to accommodate with whatever we needed. We had some very very large heavy items and it all was moved without a hitch.
